SHERWOOD

SHERWOOD

Sherwood, originally an Indian town, became settled by emigrants around 1842. Then came the Goldrush of 1849, which found a home in Sherwood because of its access to the Willamette River. This portion of the Willamette has always been a trade center and is very near the end of the Oregon Trail.

Fast forward to the year 2007 when Money placed Sherwood as one of the most livable towns in America!  Buying a home in Sherwood is a popular thing to do.

Sherwood is a charming city, nestled in the Tualatin Valley. Sherwood was named after the English Sherwood Forest and therefore the annual festival attended by so many is known as The Robin Hood Festival! Makes sense, don't you think?

Sherwood is a great neighbohood, with a very low crime rate, and residents that love living there, love the school district and the beauty of the area. One of the largest YMCA's in all of Oregon. In June 15000-18000 people descend on Sherwood to enjoy the Old Town Cruise in Sherwood.

The Sherwood school district includes 4 excellent elementary schools and the amazing Sherwood High School
